Nourishing my creative side today: POETRY TIME

she had sand in her hair,

and the sea was her heart

so you gazed recklessly

at the summer she wore on her skin

it melted and stuck between your fingers

waiting for the next time you remember to

stop

and savor that temporary madness

I just image that the summer tan glow is like melting butter and it just made me feel so alive and excited. Great poem, I cannot wait to read more :)

  2. This poem is so simple, yet so beautiful. I love the personification of summer and the imagery you provide. It's really difficult to create a beautiful poem in only a few words, but you definitely nailed it! I can't wait to see more from you c: (btw that picture is adorable)
